At Panoram, we use cookies and other tracking technologies to enhance your user experience, analyze our website's performance, and understand how users interact with our platform. This Cookie Policy provides information about the types of cookies we use and the purposes for which they are used.

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. Cookies help websites remember information about your visit, such as your preferred language, which makes your next visit more convenient. Cookies also help us understand how users navigate our website, allowing us to improve its performance and user experience.
-
Types of cookies we use
a. Essential cookies: These cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of our website and platform. They enable you to log in to your account, use the platform features, and maintain your session. Without these cookies, our platform would not work correctly.
b. Analytical cookies: We use Google Analytics, Hotjar, and etracker to analyze the usage of our website and gather information about user behavior. These cookies help us understand how users interact with our website, which pages are popular, and any issues that users may encounter. The information collected is anonymous and aggregated, and it helps us improve the website's overall performance.
c. Personalization cookies: We use Google Ads Remarketing, Facebook Pixel and Facebook Custom Audiences, Pinterest Tag, and LinkedIn Insight Tag to display personalized advertising to our website visitors on other platforms. These cookies help us tailor our marketing efforts and provide users with ads relevant to their interests.

External services
a. Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics on our website to understand usage behavior. Google Analytics creates pseudonymous user profiles that are not associated with a specific natural person. Google anonymizes your IP address when you use our website if you are inside the European Union or European Economic Area. In exceptional cases, the IP address may be sent to a server in the United States, where it is then made anonymous. Google Analytics will only be activated if you have accepted cookies of the category “statistics”. You can deactivate Google Analytics by deleting the cookies in your browser or by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at /dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. Alternatively, you can click here to save a cookie that will prevent your data from being collected when you access this website in the future. More information about Google Analytics and data usage by Google can be found at /analytics/terms/us.html and /privacy?hl=en.
b. Google Ads Remarketing: We use Google Ads to target visitors of our websites with advertising when they visit other websites in the Google Search Network or Google Display Network. Pseudonymous usage profiles can be created. Google Ads will only be activated if you have accepted cookies of the category “personalization”. You can deactivate Google Ads by adjusting your cookie settings or by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at /ads/answer/7395996?hl=en. More information about Google Ads and data usage by Google can be found at /technologies/ads?hl=en and /privacy?hl=en.
c. Facebook Pixel and Facebook Custom Audiences: We use Facebook Pixel and Facebook Custom Audiences retargeting (also in the Pixel mode) on our website. These services are provided by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California, USA, and Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”). A pixel is placed on our website that establishes a connection to Facebook servers when you visit the website. In this way, Facebook learns that you have visited our website and may associate this information with your personal Facebook profile. We use the Facebook Pixel to determine how effective our advertising on Facebook is. We use Facebook Custom Audiences to display advertising to our website visitors on Facebook that reflects their interests. For more information on how Facebook collects and processes data, please visit: /about/privacy/.
Facebook Pixel and Facebook Custom Audiences will only be activated if you have accepted cookies of the category "personalization". You can deactivate both services by deleting the cookies in your browser.
Furthermore, you can opt-out of interest-based advertising on Facebook by adjusting your settings here: /adpreferences/ad_settings/?entry_product=account_settings_menu.
Additionally, you can store an opt-out cookie by clicking here. This prevents data from being sent to Facebook when you access this website.
d. Google Maps: We use Google Maps on our website to provide you with interactive maps. We use this feature to present our service area on a map, for example. Location data that is sent to Google is always made anonymous. For more information about how Google processes data, see: /policies/privacy/. You can find Google’s privacy policy on this page: /terms?hl=en.
e. LinkedIn Insight Tag: This website uses the conversion tool "LinkedIn Insight Tag" provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company. The Insight Tag creates a cookie in your web browser that allows us to collect information such as: IP address, device and browser settings, and website events (such as page views). The IP addresses are shortened or - if they are to be used for cross-device recognition - hashed. The users' unique identifiers are removed within seven days to pseudonymize the data. This remaining pseudonymized data is then deleted within 180 days.
LinkedIn does not share any personally identifiable information with Panoram, but provides aggregated anonymized reports about the website audience and ad performance. In addition, LinkedIn offers retargeting via the Insight Tag. Panoram may use this data to display targeted advertising outside of its website. For more information about LinkedIn's privacy policy, please refer to the LinkedIn Privacy Policy.
LinkedIn members can control the use of their personal information for marketing purposes in their account settings. To disable ("opt-out") the Insight tag on our website, click here.

Collecting data
The data generated with etracker is processed and stored by etracker on behalf of the provider of this website exclusively in Germany and is therefore subject to the strict German and European data protection laws and standards. etracker has been independently audited, certified, and awarded the ePrivacyseal data protection seal of approval in this regard.
etracker is only activated if you have accepted cookies in the "Statistics" category.
The data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f (legitimate interest) of the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO). Our concern in terms of the DSGVO (legitimate interest) is the optimization of our online offer and our web presence. Since the privacy of our visitors is important to us, data that may allow a reference to an individual person, such as the IP address, login, or device identifiers, are anonymized or pseudonymized as soon as possible. We do not use the data in any other way, combine it with other data, or pass it on to third parties.
You can object to the aforementioned data processing at any time. The objection has no adverse consequences.
You can find more information on data protection at etracker here.
By integrating these external services, we aim to enhance your experience on our website and provide you with personalized content based on your preferences. However, we understand the importance of protecting your privacy and give you the option to manage and control the use of these services based on your consent. Remember that you can always modify your cookie settings or opt-out of specific services at any time.
